No Entry was released in 2005 and took the audience through a love-filled storm with its catchy comedy lines and stunning cast that included Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan. So, when the makers announced the sequel to the film, the fans were beyond overjoyed. However, what they were even more excited about was the cast which featured Diljit Dosanjh, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
Diljit Dosanjh dropped out of No Entry 2
It is yet another bad news for the fans of No Entry. The most awaited sequel of the film has met with another delay. The film, which is reportedly been in the talks for over a decade now, doesn’t seem to catch a break. While fans were now hopeful that the film would soon be released since the cast was finalised, one of the leads, Diljit Dosanjh, has reportedly decided to quit the film.
According to a report by Filmfare, a source close to the film informed the publication that the singer-actor, Diljit Dosanjh has backed out of the project. They revealed that while the singer was extremely excited about the film and the collaboration with Arjun Kapoor and Varn Dhawan, he could not come to terms with the creative ideas. The source shared that over the last few weeks, the creative developments became way off for Diljit to be a part of the project, resulting in his signing off. The source was quoted as saying:
“Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project because of creative differences.”
With Diljit Dosanjh stepping away from the project, it will be interesting to see who the makers will choose to replace him alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. However, the much-awaited sequel, which was scheduled for release in 2025, will now face some delays. Speculations have already been on the high about who might step in for the role, but there have not been any official announcements yet. Nonetheless, the buzz for the film has continued despite the shake-up.

Tamannaah Bhatia has also joined the cast of No Entry 2

While there has been no official confirmation, it is being reported that her role will be closer to Bipasha Basu’s role in the original film. Tamannaah’s entry into the film’s cast has made fans even more curious. The actress has become a fan favourite with her cameos in films over the last year, especially after her item number in Stree 2. This film promises to be a good entertainer, and we hope that the production will be able to iron out the casting and get the schedule back on track soon.
