Danielle Guizio is set to launch her first-ever in-house footwear collection on Friday. The debut capsule centers on a knee-high boot — offered in black leather and suede — that marks a significant expansion of her eponymous label from head to toe. The campaign stars model Grace Burns in monochromatic looks, embodying Guizio’s signature blend of modern femininity and subversive edge.

Since founding her New York–based label in 2014, Guizio has become known for marrying sensuality with a confident, understated ease. “It’s always been a dream of mine to create a world of Guizio from quite literally head to toe,” she said in a statement, reflecting on years spent designing shoes behind the scenes for other brands. Now, with her own in-house line, she’s poised to deliver pieces under her own name.

Lensed by photographer James Bee, the campaign features Grace Burns — who was seen in Astra Resort’s “To Catch a Star” campaign last July — styled in cream, black and red monochrome looks. The boots anchor each outfit, aligning with the brand’s established visual identity: pared-down, feminine and cool without trying too hard.

Though this is Guizio’s first wholly owned footwear line, she’s been staking her claim in shoes for years. In 2021, she slipped into Reebok’s world with a Club C 85 rework and a 2022 restock that quickly sold out. By early 2023, she’d ruggedized that same Club C with a cleated hiking boot in Brush Brown and Harmony Green suede.

Last year, she shifted gears with Puma’s Speedcat Mesh, first in a lime-and-cream duo, then a restrained black-and-white follow-up, both drops reserved for her Soho flagship. And in 2022, she partnered with Spanish label Toral, sculpting four directional boot silhouettes.

The knee-high boots, available in black leather and suede, will launch on guizio.com at noon ET on Friday. Both styles are priced at $298 and come in European sizes 35 to 41.
