Television actress Rupali Ganguly, widely known for her role in Anupamaa, has refuted recent false reports claiming she was bitten by a dog on set. Going live on social media, she clarified the situation and condemned the spread of unverified and misleading information.
Rupali Ganguly slams irresponsible journalism over false dog bite story; says, “This kind of journalism is not appreciated”
In her live session, Rupali expressed her disappointment, saying, “It was wrong and unethical to put out news without verifying the facts. This is irresponsible journalism. It’s the most ridiculous news I’ve come across. A lot has been written about me in the past, and I haven’t really bothered, but this is too much. I am absolutely fine. They are my fur babies, so please spare them. It’s truly disheartening that such baseless things are being written, especially about voiceless babies. Who even said they bit me? Why not verify before reporting?”
She further added, “This kind of journalism is not appreciated. If you’re so keen to write, speak up about real issues like animal cruelty that happens every day, or about our soldiers who are out there protecting us. Please be responsible and verify your news before publishing it. Apologies for the rant, but it truly needed to be said.”
Fans supported Rupali for speaking up and applauded her for defending innocent animals while calling out irresponsible journalism.
