As tensions continue between India and Pakistan, IndiGo has issued a travel advisory and cancelled flight operations to six cities across northern and western India until May 13. The cancellations will remain in effect until 11:59 pm on Saturday.

Flight services to and from Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Leh, Chandigarh, and Rajkot have been suspended. The airline cited precautionary airspace restrictions and heightened security measures as the reason for the move.

In a statement, IndiGo said, “We understand how this may disrupt your travel plans, and regret the inconvenience caused. Our teams are actively monitoring the situation and will promptly keep you informed of further updates.”

The decision follows Pakistan’s recent missile and drone activity, which has prompted authorities to enforce strict measures across multiple regions. At least 32 airports near India’s border with Pakistan have been temporarily shut down in response to the growing tensions after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. However Airport Authority of India re-opened them on Monday.
