Social media obsession and the race for views have gained a significant role in people’s lives. Especially, many young people are ready to go to any dangerous lengths to gain positive comments and views. They intend to portray themselves as a happy, fearless and adventurous person, which impresses their peers. From taking selfies near cliffs to doing stunts in the middle of traffic, they often cross the line between fun and dumb behaviour, which has in the past raised concerns over social media addiction. As such incidents are becoming more and more common, a recent incident in the same line is going viral where a newlywed couple left everyone stunned after their wedding.

Gwalior couple groove on Bollywood number over their car

Recently, a new video has surfaced on the internet where a newlywed couple performed a risky dance at their wedding. In the video, the duo was seen on the top of a moving car, where the groom proudly stood on the car’s roof and swirled his sword in the air to showcase his bravery. On the other hand, the bride, dressed in her heavy ensemble, sat over the car’s bonnet and danced under the stars at night. Displaying her style, she danced to Salman Khan’s starrer No Entry‘s song, Ishq Di Galli Vich No Entry.

She wore a multicoloured, heavily embroidered lehenga featuring hues of beige, silver and pink. It featured an intricate zari work with a wide fair, which came in line of the driver’s view. She wore a matching pink dupatta, necklace, maang teeka, bangles and more with glamorous makeup. A report by The Times of India revealed that the incident took place on a busy road near the newly constructed Rail Over Bridge (ROB). Consequently, many passersby were shocked to see the incident take place on the roads of Gwalior.

Gwalior police took strict action against the newlyweds in the video

The newlywed couple’s video was shared on an Instagram handle by the name of Humor Overload which gained hundreds of likes, views and comments. Among other viewers, it came to the notice of Gwalior’s traffic police, who tracked them out for using the car’s number and found their address in Sirole Dharikheda Jagra Road, Gwalior. They took immediate action and fined the couple. Sharing his views on it, Subedar Abhishek Raghuvanshi from Gola Ka Mandir Traffic Station confirmed the action and warned:

“Further action may be taken. This stunt could have led to a major accident. It was not only dangerous for the bride and groom but for all road users.”
