Hadid is just one who got right back into the rhythm of life. On Wednesday, she was spotted with pal Kendall Jenner; both donned their much more comfortable—but still trendy—ballerina flats. Gigi was clad camo pants and olive-green Miu Miu ballet flats, and toted a bubblegum-pink Chanel 22 bag, while Kendall sported a draped ecru vest, straight-leg jeans, and a hobo bag with Eva ballerinas, both from her favored brand, The Row.

The following day and in the most recent snaps, Hadid stepped out to go see the The Human Situation exhibition in New York, featuring works by Marcia Marcus, Alice Neel, and Sylvia Sleigh. For a gander around the gallery, she wore a loose gray and lightly striped shirt unbuttoned to the navel, paired with some loose gray cashmere bottoms from her own brand, Guest in Residence. She opted for another pair of comfy ballet flats, with some rectangular sunglasses, and a black and green shoulder bag. Her hair was pulled back in a loose chignon. It was perfectly in line with Hadid’s usual aesthetic—easy and androgynous, but elevated with her accessory details and refined, luxe materials.
As Hadid proves, reverting back to a casual wardrobe after one of the most glamorous nights of the fashion calendar can still be chic.
