Bollywood’s much-loved comedy franchise Housefull is all set to get even bigger and funnier with its upcoming installment, Housefull 5. The film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, marks his return to the director’s chair after a long hiatus, and fans are eagerly awaiting what he has in store this time. The star-studded cast includes Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and an ensemble of nearly 20 other actors, promising a cinematic rollercoaster of chaos, confusion, and crackling comedy.

In a conversation with Free Press Journal, Tarun Mansukhani shared his excitement about working with the ensemble cast, particularly Abhishek Bachchan, with whom he has a long history. “I always have a great time working with Abhishek, whether as a director or as an assistant. We even sulk with each other and then something happens on set and we both just look at each from across the set and know what the other is thinking and burst out laughing. Since we’ve known each other since we were 16, our bond goes beyond an actor-director friendship.”
He added, “Definitely it is. Not only is his sense of humour dry like mine but we both love physical comedy as well. He is very underrated in comedy and I hope more writers and directors cast him in comedies.”
With the return of the beloved Housefull franchise, audiences can expect a hilarious and thrilling ride full of surprises, and it looks like Housefull 5 will be worth the wait.
