Tamil actor Ravi Mohan and singer Kenishaa Francis made an appearance at producer Ishari Ganesh’s daughter’s wedding in Chennai on Friday. Their joint appearance came months after Ravi Mohan announced his separation from his ex-wife Aarti. Though Ravi and Kenishaa maintained that they were friends last year, their appearance has now sparked rumours about their relationship.

Ravi and Kenishaa wore matching outfits for the wedding. While the actor was seen in a traditional shirt and dhoti, Kenishaa opted for a gold-coloured saree with embroidery on the border.

In September 2024, Ravi Mohan and Aarti were involved in a nasty fight on social media after the actor announced his decision to part ways.

Kenishaa, in an interview with DT Next, dismissed affair rumours with Ravi and claimed that Aarti and her family abused Ravi. She further added that she met Ravi on professional grounds as a therapist.

She rubbished the affair rumours and said, “There has been no physical involvement; we both understand our boundaries. I am self-made, and my parents are no more.”

Levelling allegations against Aarti and her family, she stated, “But, as a therapist, I can tell you that the pain Jayam Ravi’s family has put him through is bigger than the pain of losing his parents. As a therapist, it was beyond painful for me to hear about his struggles with Aarti and her parents. No one deserves so much abuse, irrespective of the gender, and I can release all the evidence, with or without Ravi’s permission in the court of law, from my notes of our therapy sessions.”

That said, a divorce case has been filed and is currently in court. Ravi and Aarti are parents to two boys, Aarav and Ayaan.
