Dairy brand Amul has once again struck the right chord with its latest topical poster – this time celebrating the much-talked-about debut of Shah Rukh Khan at the MET Gala 2025. Known for its witty and timely ads on pop culture and current affairs, Amul paid tribute to the Bollywood megastar with a poster that captures the grandeur of his appearance at the prestigious fashion event held on Monday.

The artwork features a caricatured version of Shah Rukh Khan in his regal avatar designed by renowned couturier Sabyasachi. Staying true to the MET Gala’s 2025 theme, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ with the dress code ‘Tailored for You’, the poster calls SRK “India’s Biggest Galakaar”, playing cleverly on the word ‘Gala’ and the Hindi word for ‘artist’. The slogan “Amul – Always In Fashion” adds the brand’s signature flair to the creative.
This marked the superstar’s grand debut at the MET Gala, a global fashion spectacle that draws the biggest names from entertainment, art, and design. And Shah Rukh Khan did not disappoint. Dressed in a stunning bespoke ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, he brought an air of classic Indian elegance fused with global tailoring finesse.
According to the designer, Shah Rukh donned a floor-length, elongated coat crafted in Tasmanian superfine wool. The sophisticated coat featured monogrammed Japanese horn buttons, hand canvassing, and a single-breasted cut with a peak collar and wide lapels—details that highlight precision craftsmanship. The look was completed with a crepe de chine silk shirt and sharply tailored superfine wool trousers, paired with a pleated satin kamarbandh, adding a subtle nod to traditional Indian styling.
What truly elevated the look, however, was the striking accessory: The Bengal Tiger Head Cane. This statement piece was crafted in 18k gold and embellished with tourmalines, sapphires, old mine cut, and brilliant cut diamonds—blending opulence with symbolism. The cane served as both a visual anchor and a nod to Sabyasachi’s Bengal heritage.
