ROSÉ came suited and booted in custom YSL at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday (May 5).

She teamed up with Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of Saint Laurent, on her black tailor-made tuxedo, with a plunging jacket that showed off her Tiffany & Co. sapphire and diamond pendant and dramatic train that covered her slacks and red strappy heels.

Her BLACKPINK bandmates JENNIE and LISA walked the blue carpet before her.

“The last time I came, I was by myself. So I’m really, really excited to see the girls. I was just with them in the studio in Korea, so it’s nice just to have family here,” she told Vogue red carpet host La La Anthony, who told ROSÉ she had chatted with JENNIE earlier that evening about their upcoming reunion tour, which kicks off in July. “We’ve got new music coming up that’s going to be a whole different approach to how we storytell this next tour,” said ROSÉ.

This year’s Met Gala celebrated the theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The official dress code is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the spring 2025 exhibition’s focus on menswear and is “purposefully designed to provide guidance and invite creative interpretation,” according to Vogue.

Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo and Lewis Hamilton served as co-chairs, while LeBron James served as honorary chair. James announced on X he had to cancel his appearance due to a knee injury he sustained at the end of the season. Tyla, Doechii, André 3000, Usher, Janelle Monáe and more also served as members of the costume institute benefit host committee.
