    MPBSE Board Result 2025 declared: Mohan Yadav announces twice-a-year exams from 2025-26

    The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 and Class 12 board results for 2025 today, May 6 at 10 am. In a significant move aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that starting from the 2025–26 academic session, Class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted twice a year. The announcement was made during the result press conference.

    This year, over 18 lakh students registered for the exams. Students can now check their results on the official websites — mpresults.nic.in, mpbse.nic.in. To view their scorecards, students need to log in using their roll number and application number as mentioned on their admit cards.

    EXAM TIMELINE

    Class 12 exams: Held from February 25 to March 25, 2025

    Class 10 exams: Conducted from February 27 to March 19, 2025

    The provisional mark sheets available online will include subject-wise scores. Students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools once issued.

    PASS PERCENTAGE IMPROVES

    Class 10 pass rate: 76.22% — the highest in 15 years

    Class 12 pass rate: 74.48%

    In a significant trend, government schools outperformed private institutions this year, reflecting an upward shift in the quality of public education.

    MP BOARD 2025 TOPPERS

    Class 10 topper: Pragya Jaiswal scored a perfect 500/500

    Class 12: The topper list is expected to be released soon

    From the previous year, Aditya Humane and Tanishka Kulshreshtha were the highest scorers in Class 12. In 2024, girls had a better pass rate (68.42%) compared to boys (60.54%) — a trend that continued from earlier years.

    DISTRICT-WISE HIGHLIGHTS

    Narsinghpur district took the lead this year, achieving the highest combined results across both Class 10 and 12.

    2024: Results announced on April 24; over 10.29 lakh students in Class 10 and 8 lakh in Class 12 appeared

    2023: Results came out on May 25

    2022: Girls dominated results again; Class 12 pass rate stood at 72.72%, while Class 10 had 59.54%

    2021: Class 12 saw a 100% pass rate due to special COVID policies; over 3.56 lakh students scored first division in Class 10

    2020: Despite pandemic disruptions, 5.60 lakh of 8.93 lakh students cleared Class 10.

    RE-EVALUATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMS

    Students unsatisfied with their scores can apply for re-evaluation once the forms are available on the MPBSE website. Those who did not pass the exams will be eligible to appear in the supplementary exams, offering a second chance to qualify. The schedule for compartment exams will be announced soon and results will be declared separately.
