India and Sri Lanka are all set to face each other in Match No.4 of the Women’s Tri-series on Sunday, May 4 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
India, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, are sitting at the top of the table with four points and a net run rate of +1.255. They began with a nine-wicket win over the hosts, after which they eased past Laura Wolvaardt’s South Africa by 15 runs on April 29.
Pratika Rawal won the Player of the Match award against Sri Lanka while Sneh Rana’s five-wicket haul stunned the Proteas. If India win their next game, they would become the first team to qualify for the final of the tri-nation series.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, recovered brilliantly after their loss to Harmanpreet’s India. On Friday, May 2, Chamari Athapaththu and Co. beat South Africa by five wickets to open their account in the series.

Harshitha Samarawickrama became the Player of the Match, scoring 77 off 93, helping the home team chase down 236 with 21 balls to spare. Right-arm pacer Malki Madara and off-spinner Dewmi Vihanga picked up four and three wickets respectively.
