A$AP Rocky has officially declined to testify in his felony assault trial, with the defense resting its case without calling the rapper to the stand. The 36-year-old hip-hop star, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, asserted his legal right, stating in court, ‘I want my right to not testify.’ Before Rocky’s departure, his tour manager, Lou Levin, took the stand, offering key testimony about the rapper’s use of a prop gun. According to Levin, Rocky began carrying the gun after facing security threats, including a stalker and multiple break-ins at his home. The manager also claimed that Rocky fired the weapon during a 2021 confrontation with his former friend, A$AP Relli. However, the gun only shot blanks, and Rocky later handed it over to Levin.
