Luigi Mangione supporters defaced Epstein’s old mansion in New York and wrore ‘Free Luigi’.

An Upper East Side mansion in New York that once belonged to Jeffrey Epstein has been vandalized by a group of people who wrote ‘Deny, defend, depose’ on the facade. Apart from these words that instantly link the vandals to Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, there were slogans like “Free Luigi”, “They Fear The People” etc.
The slogans were later erased by the workers who were on the site.
Epstein first moved into the townhouse in 1995. This mansion was one of the notorious places where the pedophile preyed on underage women and entertained some of the world’s most powerful people. After Epstein’s 2019 arrest for sex trafficking and te subsequent jail suicide, the mansion was on sale. In 2021, former Goldman Sachs executive Michael Daffey bought the mansion at $51 million.
This is not the first weird incident around the house. Vandals earlier even smeared animal blood and excrement on its facade. The house is famous for “dark tourism” as everyone around knows that this once belonged to Epstein.

What is the connection between Epstein and Luigi Mangione?

Apparently, the vandals are Luigi Mangione supporters and the accused killer has no dearth of fans. There is no obvious connection between Mangione and Epstein but his supporters might have wanted to attract some attention and chose this mansion for their messages supporting Mangione.
Deny, defend, depose were the three letters written on the bullet casings found near Brian Thompson’s body in front of the New York hotel where he was shot dead. These three words were similar to a book by Jay M Feiman ‘Delay Deny Defend’. The book was about insurance companies who don’t pay claims. UnitedHealthcare is also a health insurance company and these three words made it clear that the murder was by an aggrieved person. After Mangione was arrested, investigators revealed that he was never a customer of the UHC but he worked as a vigilante. Mangione pleaded not guilty to the murder charges and is now in Brooklyn jail.
