Amazon founder Jeff Bezos went to meet Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago Wednesday night with his fiancee Lauren Sanchez — becoming the latest billionaire to break bread with the President-elect after Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman, Tim Cook and TikTok’s Show Zi Chew. ‘Everybody wants to be my friend,” Donald Trump posted on Truth Social Thursday morning probably hinting at how all his critics are now making a beeline at Mar-a-Lago to bend the knee.
An eyewitness’s account about the meeting has gone viral as it describes how Elon Musk was also there between Bezos and Donald Trump.
The Instagram post gave a timeline of how things unfolded at Mar-a-Lago. At 7.40 PM, Bezos and Trump arrived — Bezos with Lauren Sanchez and Trump with Melania. Eric Trump and Lara Trump were already there waiting for them. “As someone who has frequented Maralagi, I see a much more serious Donald Trump working every second and very conscientious! from the moment the four arrive it is clear this is a top level business meeting as Jeff looks energized and fresh and on a mission to win Trump over who in the past called him Jeff Bozo!” it said.
An hour later, at 8.30 PM entered Elon Musk “out of nowhere” making Jeff Bezos very uncomfortable. “Bezos looks completely caught off guard and uncomfortable like he had been c**k-blocked (sorry to be so off color)”.
“The tension between Musk and Bezos known rivals is palpable as they do their best to engage politely but clearly have no love for each other!” it said.
The account also pointed out that Melania Trump looked very serious and engaged as she spoke to Sanchez and Lara Trump indicating that she would be playing a “more purposeful role”. Their talks were probably business oriented, the writer added.
“Trump and Bezos then get up for the buffet so they can talk one on one as Bezos continually whispers in Trump’s ear! it is hard to fathom that Bezos is so enthralled with Trump someone who he has been highly critical of in the past and actually appears to respect him!” it said.
Elon Musk lights up like a Christmas tree around Trump, the account said adding that becomes a little boy in Trump’s presence.

Bezos does not have a traditionally good relationship with Trump who once called him Jeff Bozo. Jeff Bezos’ relationship with Musk is also frosty though Elon Musk said he had a great conversation with Bezos at Mar-a-Lago. Musk previously wrote on X that he got to know that Beazos was telling everyone that Trump would lose the election and so they should sell all their Tesla and SpaceX stock. Bezos denied the claims.
