Nick Jonas has caused a stir among his fans after the singer left a comment on a tweet by Elon Musk.
It all started when Elon posted a tweet about his electric car company Tesla, which mentioned how the brand had surged in value since Donald Trump’s victory. Alongside the tweet, Elon shared a GIF of Nick and his brother Kevin Jonas rotating a table, captioning it: “My, how the tables have turned!”

Nick then replied with phrase: “Take us to the Year 3000,” because of which fans have been accusing the pop star of backing the entrepreneur.

Comments flooded in, with fans expressing their shock and disappointment. One tweeted: “I’m gonna start crying.”
Another wrote: “And just like that… you ruined everything AGAIN Nicholas.”
Fans were also quick to point out Jonas Brothers’ decision to remain neutral during the last election, noting that Nick’s response to Musk looked like a political statement.
One fan said: “We’re not just gonna move on from this. To stay quiet during the entire election and then tweet something like this? I’ve been a fan since 2005, but I just can’t support this.”
Despite the backlash, Nick has mostly kept a low profile, spending time with his wife Priyanka Chopra and their young daughter Malti. The couple recently celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary. Nick shared a sweet Instagram post with photos of the family in New York, saying: “6-year wedding anniversary. Moana 2. Family time. New York City. What could be better. My heart is full.”
