The late singer was regularly posting on his Snapchat, a few hours before his death.
According to police reports, Payne had been exhibiting aggressive behaviour and was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol before the incident. The hotel manager’s emergency call described him as being intoxicated and out of control, noting that he was damaging his hotel room, which included a balcony.
