Pavel Durov, the wealthy creator and chief executive officer of Telegram, a popular messaging application, was taken into custody on Saturday night at Bourget airport, situated on the outskirts of Paris, according to an anonymous source cited by TF1 TV.
TF1 reported on its website that Durov was on his personal aircraft when the arrest happened. The media outlet further said that the billionaire had been the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant in France.
