Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly made a racist comment as senator Laphonza Butler spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Monday. Laphonza Butler has been a long time friend of vice president Kamala Harris and was her advisor when Kamala Harris was California’s attorney general. Megyn Kelly had a problem as Laphonza said she and Kamala Harris both graduated from historically Black colleges.”Imagine the white person up there: I’m proud to tell you I went to a mostly white university,” Megyn wrote and was condemned for her ‘disgusting’ attack.
Journalist Joan Walsh replied: “Did you fall on your head?” ” What made you even dumber than your Black Santa idiocy?” Norman Orstein, contributing editor at the Atlantic, wrote: “Megyn Kelly. Racist embarrassment.”

“Was there a period of time where white people were denied college access so they needed to create alternative institutions to combat systematic oppression? No? Maybe that explains the difference?” The Bulwark’s Tim Miller said.
“Why, historically, did black people have to create their own institutions, Megyn? Just proudly Dunning-Krueger’ing history and all forms of knowledge for decades now my god,” The Nation columnist Kali Holloway said.
Columnist Laura Bassett wrote, “I beg you to read a history book, any normal American history book, to understand the difference.”
“You haven’t learned anything since you were fired from NBC for racist comments, have you? Ma’am, white people were never denied entrance to colleges because of their race. That’s why HBCUs have to exist in the first place. Also because of people like you,” a journalist wrote.
“There is a 1000% chance that Megyn Kelly will tweet the N word before the election,” a comment read.
