Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff was spotted at the Democratic National Convention Monday night in support of her momala Harris wearing a Harris-Walz campaign camouflage hat. But the Republicans did not approve of her dressing and how she posed with her father Douglas Emhoff for the camera. MAGA social media users called her ‘weird’, ‘creepy’ and her pose of side-hugging her father weirder.”She’s gotta make sure her armpit hair shows,” one commented.
“This is how Kamala Harris’s step daughter Ella Emhoff dressed to see her step mother during one of the most important moments of her career at the DNC,” one comment read disapproving of her dressing style.
“He (Doug) tried to pull away but she kept him there,” one wrote.
“Weird! Why does Dougy have his hand on he/she/they’s hip? These people are freaks,” another wrote.
“Bring back beautiful & brainy Ivanka Trump!” a MAGA supporter wrote.
“This is how Kamala Harris’s step daughter (she has no kids of her own) dressed tonight for his father’s wife’s big night. This family is competing with Biden for the title of trashiest family to occupy the White House,” right-winger Laura Loomer snarked.
Ella’s mother, Doug’s first wife Kerstin Emhoff was also there at the convention.

Ella, the 25-year-old model, has been under the spotlight ever since she came out in defense of her stepmother from ‘childless cat ladies’ jibe. She asserted that Kamala Harris was a mother of two and hence could not be called childless. Then she was in news for sharing a fundraiser link to aid Palestinian refugees. Though Doug is a Jew, Ella was not raised as a Jewish.
Ella’s elder brother Cole who mostly remains out of the public eye attended the convention on Monday. So did Kamala Harris’ sister Maya Harris and her husband Tony West.
