The cyclists were thrown from their bikes and injured, with one being run over and having his legs crushed. Other motorists chased down the driver, leading to his arrest.

One of the witnesses, who filmed the encounter, shared the experience online.
“Riders who were hit are expected to be ok, thank God,” the witness, identified only as @auroramyst, posted on X.
