NEW DELHI: Israeli defence minister on Saturday warned against ‘revenge’ over teen‘s death after the body was recovered in the occupied West Bank.
The disappearance of 14-year-old Binyamin Achimair sparked had a huge manhunt and attacks on Palestinian villages, this comes amidst heightened violence as Israel battles Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
“Security forces are continuing the pursuit after those suspected of carrying out the attack,” the army said.
“The heinous murder of the boy… is a serious crime,” Netanyahu said in a statement. Israeli forces “are in an intensive pursuit after the heinous murderers and all those who collaborated with them,” he added.
Binyamin went missing from the Malachi Hashalom outpost on Friday.
