Five Palestinian patients die at besieged Al Shifa hospital in Gaza, health ministry says – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Five Palestinians among the wounded at Al Shifa hospital in Gaza have died as the facility remains besieged by Israeli forces, the enclave’s health ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The hospital without essential supplies or health services, is under siege for the sixth consecutive day, the ministry added.
The Gaza health ministry on Saturday said that at least 32,142 Palestinians have been killed and 74,412 injured in Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since October 7.
In the past 24 hours, 72 Palestinians have lost their lives and around 144 individuals were injured, according to the ministry’s latest statement.
