NEW DELHI: A small plane carrying two people aboard landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Monday after its rear door fell off, police stated.
Authorties said that the aircraft lost its door around 5.30pm, as it was flying above the Buffalo suburb of Cheektowaga, located a few miles south of the airport.
According to Cheektowaga police, there were no reports of injuries or property damage on the ground.
The police have been unsuccessful in locating the door.
