NEW DELHI: The docuseries “UFO Revolution” has made a significant impact by challenging long-standing conspiracy theories and introducing key whistleblowers, leading to unprecedented actions by Congress and the Pentagon regarding potential extraterrestrial threats to national security. Jeremy Corbell, an investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker featured in the series, described the project as a personal risk but essential in uncovering the truth about UFOs.”I’m really happy that this series was able to peel back a layer of mystery about the UFO subject, and what it takes to fight to get the truth on this subject,” Corbell said.
As per a Fox News report, the series includes footage obtained by Corbell, showing unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) – previously referred to as UFOs – exhibiting physics-defying behaviors. These UAPs have been observed over active war zones, US military bases, and nuclear sites. Corbell emphasized the significance of the series, saying, “It really peels back the veil and lets people see how many people are fighting for this. How the American people have been lied to. It just blows up decades of conspiracies.”
One of the whistleblowers, David Grusch, testified before Congress about threats to his life when he came forward with information about a secret government-run crashed UFO retrieval program aimed at reverse-engineering UFO technology. The series also features new footage, including an unknown jellyfish-like object flying over a military base in Iraq, which Corbell shared with Fox News Digital. Michael Cincoski, a US Marine veteran stationed at the base, recalled seeing the “spaghetti monster” and expressed excitement about the video being made public.
The series also highlights the “Mosul Orb,” a metallic-looking orb recorded by a US military spy plane over Mosul, Iraq, in April 2016. This footage marked the first time the American public saw a designated UFO in an active conflict zone, raising concerns about the rules of engagement and potential misunderstandings between nations.
Congressman Tim Burchett, a vocal advocate on the UFO subject, warned about the advanced technology of these phenomena. “If they’re out there, they’re out there, and if they have this kind of technology, then they could turn us into a charcoal briquette,” Burchett said. He expressed concerns about humanity’s ability to handle such advanced technology, given its capabilities beyond our current understanding of physics.
The Pentagon, on its part, has launched a website on UFOs, or UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena), for professionals and the public to access declassified information and resources about UAPs. The website, which is hosted by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), aims to provide transparency and insight into the Pentagon’s work on UAPs, as well as to collect reports from current or former government employees, service members, and contractors who have direct knowledge of UAP-related programs or activities. The website also features videos, reports, briefings, and links to other relevant sites, such as aircraft, balloon, and satellite tracking.
The website was launched on September 1, 2023, as part of the Pentagon’s efforts to comply with the National Defense Authorization Act of 2022, which mandated the establishment of AARO and the submission of a comprehensive report on UAPs to Congress. The report, which was released in June 2023, acknowledged that UAPs pose a potential threat to national security and that more data and analysis are needed to understand their nature and origin. The report also revealed that the Pentagon had investigated 144 UAP incidents since 2004, of which only one was resolved as a large, deflating balloon. The rest remained unexplained, with some exhibiting unusual flight characteristics and behaviors.
