In a glitzy Oval Office moment, Cook on Wednesday presented a one-of-a-kind piece of glass mounted on a 24-karat gold base. The glass has been produced at Corning’s facility in Kentucky, and the base is from Utah. The Apple CEO presented him with the gift as a part of a ceremony celebrating Apple’s expanding “American Manufacturing Program.” “This glass comes off the Corning line, engraved for President Trump,” Cook said. “It is a unique unit of one,” he added.Cook’s present to Trump was polished, but Trump’s gift to Apple is much shinier.
