Ibrahim Ali Khan, who recently stepped into the spotlight with his digital debut Nadaaniyan, is already creating buzz across B-town. With his much-anticipated film Sarzameen in the pipeline, Ibrahim is being closely watched as the next big star kid to enter the Bollywood arena. As the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, comparisons were inevitable – especially given his uncanny resemblance to his father in both looks and charm.

In a recent interview with GQ India, Ibrahim opened up about the similarities between him and his father, often brought up by fans and family alike. Reflecting on how his personality aligns with Saif’s, he admitted, “I’m not as wild as my dad was, but I can be goofy and enjoy myself. That’s one thing I’ve definitely got from him. It’s hard to miss that you’re a mirror image of your dad.”

Saif Ali Khan, known for his rebellious streak in the early days of his career, carried a notorious reputation for being the industry’s ‘wild child’. While Ibrahim insists he isn’t quite like that, he recognises the playful and humorous side he has inherited. “Back in the day, Saif’s wild child reputation was legendary. He was bratty, partied hard, and got into brawls,” he recalled.

When asked whether he’s been told that he reminds people of Saif, Ibrahim shared a humorous and personal anecdote involving his mother, Amrita Singh. “Sometimes. At home, it’s scary when my mom and I are arguing and she goes, ‘Oh, you remind me of Saif.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh god, okay!’ What do I even say to her then?” he laughed.

Ibrahim will next be seen in Sarzameen, directed by Kayoze Irani. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol and will mark his theatrical debut. As the buzz continues to build, fans are eager to see whether Ibrahim carves out his own space or continues to reflect shades of Saif’s legacy on-screen.
