Brandi Glanville shocked fans after posting a video on TikTok on August 4, 2025 (EDT). The internet persona had burns all over her face. According to the Daily Mail, Brandi used Nair hair-removal cream in a home DIY attempt to treat a facial disfigurement. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has been battling this for a while now, and things went sideways fast.
She posted a video acknowledging what had happened and shared that Nair was a fountain of youth. However, she might have overdone it. She even joked that the chemical peeled off some loose skin from her arms while leaving her in pain and stated:
“Nair is the fountain of youth, but I overdid it. Seven minutes don’t do it.”
Brandi shared the aftercare for her DIY disaster and stated that it included aloe vera, cucumber, and black tea. In the caption, she explained that it is a good hack. However, she should have done a patch test before putting the mixture on her face. Brown and red patches with peeled-off spots were clearly visible in the video. She filmed the video while assisting her mother, Judith Ann. Brandi wrote:
“Beauty hacks (this is a good one but do a test patch)I did 7 minutes and I’m on fire sooooioko don’t do 7 minutes. It also burned the loose skin off my arms & its 7 dollars. Mix up some aloe vera, cucumber and black tea put it in the freezer put it in the spray bottle and once it’s cold enough spray all day cause I’m in some pain.”
