Alia Bhatt posted a never-before-seen throwback video from the rehearsals of the high-energy dance number “Dhindhora Baje Re” from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at her preparation with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. In the video, Alia flawlessly performs the dance steps as Vaibhavi instructs and supports her. Toward the end, a visibly impressed Vaibhavi is seen giving Alia money as a gesture of appreciation for her performance. Alia touches her feet and jumps with joy upon receiving it. In the caption, the actress wrote, “Reliving these memories and my heart is soooo full today ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’ is your brilliance @vaibhavi.merchant.”

Well deserved!” while Guneet Monga and Sophie Choudry reacted by dropping red heart emojis.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Ranveer Singh shared his reaction to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s victory at the National Film Awards. In an emotional note, he wrote, “The real win for RRKPK is how it has grown to become people’s go-to comfort film. They rewatch it again and again, as a form of emotional regulation. Ek aisi film jo dil ka bojh halka kar deti hai. That’s wholesome entertainment indeed. Feeling proud, feeling blessed, feeling grateful.”

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar, received widespread acclaim for reviving the essence of classic Bollywood family dramas. Alongside lead actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the film featured a stellar ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Kshitee Jog.
