The fifth and final Test at the Oval Test between India and England has been a rain-affected affair but an entertaining affair. In a series that has been dominated by the bat, it was the bowlers who has dominated proceedings at the Oval.

Day one saw only 64 overs being bowled as fans witnessed the covers coming on constantly. Day two saw Gus Atkinson and the rest of the bowlers bundle India for 224 on Friday, August 1. Atkinson picked up five wickets for 33 as India crumbled from 213 for six in quick time. England started their innings in grand fashion as Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley put the Indian bowlers to the sword. They put on a 92-run stand before Duckett was dismissed by Akash Deep and gave him an interesting send-off.

In the second session, the Indian bowlers came back into the contest with Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj picking up four wickets. England got a lead but India got them all out for 247. Yashasvi Jaiswal then hit an aggressive fifty as India ended the day with 75 for two on the board with a 52-run lead.

So with the Test match in the balance, we are in for a thrilling Day three on Saturday, August 2. Will the weather once again play a role in proceedings at the Oval?

So, the good thing is that there is no rain predicted for Day three of the Test at Oval. The conditions are expected to be mostly sunny with a bit of cloud cover with the maximum temperature expected to be 22 degree celsius.

Humidity is expected to hover around the 50 percent mark throughout the day, meaning that we will be in for a cracking day of cricket. India will look for some quick runs and set a challenging total for England to chase at the Oval.
