Singer, Keneeshaa Francis has once again made headlines after she made a joint appearance with Ravi Mohan (formerly Jayam Ravi) in matching golden outfits at a wedding. It was followed by a letter shared by the latter’s estranged wife, Aarti Ravi where she called him out for not supporting her or their children. Although, it remains to be seen what happens next in Ravi And Aarti’s marital drama, Keneeshaa has been blamed for being the cause for their conflict. At the same time, rumours of her dating Ravi Mohan have been reignited with their joint appearance. Amid all this, let’s go back to an interview where Keneeshaa opened up about being accused of Ravi and Aarti’s separation.
Keneeshaa revealed Ravi Mohan reached out to her after sending a divorce notice to Aarti
Keneeshaa Francis previously sat down for an interview with DT Next wherein she opened up about the hate she has received on the internet after rumours about her linkup with Ravi made headlines. She shared that her friends and family were worried about it and reached out to look after her amid the increasing speculations. However, the singer held the opinion that those who knew her and her work would understand that she is not wrong. Reacting to the online hate, Keneeshaa said:
“What I see online are blatant accusations and outright lies. I can only remain silent for so long. I have no intention of allowing my integrity to be questioned by anyone.”
Keneeshaa revealed that she first met Ravi Mohan at the launch of her song, Idhai Yaar Solvaaro where they had a brief conversation. However, after that, they had limited contact with each other as she reacted to his work and other things. Keneeshaa claimed that when he was emotionally affected by his marriage to Aarti, he reached out to her. After checking her credentials as a spiritual therapist and psychologist, they began a professional relationship. Reacting on being called the third party and the reason for Ravi and Aarti’s separation, she said:
“There are certain articles that say that I am the reason behind his separation from his ex-wife. Those are false claims. He came to me only after he had sent a notice for divorce by mutual consent through his lawyer. He approached me because he didn’t want anyone in Chennai to know about this. I didn’t immediately accept him as a client; I needed to ensure I could truly help him.”

In the same conversation, Keneeshaa criticised the negative comments made against her on social media. She clarified that she didn’t deserve any of them and it was just an attempt to hamper her reputation. The singer-psychologist further added that she didn’t even know him well until he sent a divorce notice to Aarti. At the same time, Keneeshaa mentioned that any media’s fake theories about their relationship would be responsible if anything happens between them in future. In her words.
“Any speculation about a romantic relationship is purely media-driven, and they will be responsible even if something happens between us in future. There has been no physical involvement; we both understand our boundaries. I am self-made, and my parents are no more. But as a therapist, I can tell that the pain Jayam Ravi’s family has put him through is bigger than the pain of losing his parents.”
Keneeshaa continued that she was stunned and heartbroken when she heard about Ravi’s struggles with Aarti Ravi and her parents. She reaffirmed that no one deserved that kind of ‘abuse’ and she could always release the evidence of those things in court without Ravi’s permission from her notes if needed. Keneeshaa added that the media should question Ravi, Aarti or their families about their marital issues and not her. Claiming how Aarti was using her as a scapegoat, she said:
“Just because Aarti is afraid of what she’s done to Ravi, she cannot use me as a scapegoat to cover up her doings that Aarti has been doing in the last month in tarnishing his image and to his bank accounts are questionable. This is not my circus and I cannot be battling this. If these rumour mills continue, I may have to consider legal action for defamation.”
