NEW DELHI: Congress MP from Solapur Praniti Shinde Monday attacked the government on Operation Sindoor, calling it a “tamasha (drama)” and said the entire episode was a media show rather than a real success as claimed by government.Participating in a debate in Lok Sabha, Shinde said, “Operation Sindoor was nothing but a ‘tamasha’ of the govt in the media. No one is telling us what was achieved in this operation. How many terrorists were caught? How many fighter jets did we lose? Who is responsible and whose mistake is this, should be answered by this government.”Despite the treasury benches led by defence minister Rajnath Singh targeting opposition on asking wrong questions with an intent to bring down the morale of security forces, Congress and SP raised the issue of Indian fighter jets being shot down by Pakistan while questioning the “effectiveness” of Operation Sindoor.
