Marvel Animation has released the trailer for its highly anticipated animated series Eyes of Wakanda, which will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on August 1.

Eyes of Wakanda is a four-part series that delves into the rich history of Wakanda, revealing the untold stories of warriors who ventured beyond the nation’s borders to defend one of its most precious resources — Vibranium.

Created by Todd Harris, the series follows a secretive and elite group of Wakandan warriors known as the Hatut Zeraze. Unlike most citizens of the reclusive African nation, these fighters travel the globe in pursuit of stolen Vibranium, risking their lives to keep it out of the wrong hands. Each episode is set in a different era and location, promising an action-packed adventure.

The series features an impressive voice cast, including model and actress Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose.

Todd Harris, the director and executive producer of the series, is no stranger to Wakanda. He previously worked with director Ryan Coogler as a storyboard artist on Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Harris brings that visual storytelling experience to Eyes of Wakanda, continuing the legendary Marvel narrative in animated form.

The series is produced in partnership with Proximity Media, with Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Kalia King serving as producers. Executive producers include MCU heavyweights Ryan Coogler, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt.

With Eyes of Wakanda, Marvel continues to push storytelling boundaries, offering fans a deeper look into Wakanda’s past in a visually stunning animated format.
