    Who was Cameron Boyce?

    Cameron Boyce was born on May 28, 1999, in Los Angeles. He began acting at a young age and made his debut on TV and then stepped in films with the horror film, Mirrors and the action thriller, Eagle Eye, in 2008. But it was his role as ‘Luke Ross’ on Disney Channel’s Jessie which made him a household name across the US. Cameron’s comedy and impressive dance skills made him a unique actor in the crowd.

    Cameron went on to star in Mrs. Fletcher and Descendants, one of Disney’s most popular original movie series. Apart from this, the young actor was part of the dance crew, X-Mob, with four other friends, and actively did charity work. Not to forget, Cameron had a special connection with Adam Sandler as he played the role of his spoiled son, ‘Keithie Feder’ in Grown Ups, released in 2010, and its sequel, Grown Ups 2. Their on-screen performances and off-screen bond shone on screen, and Adam never left an opportunity to praise the then 12-year-old’s kind, funny, and caring nature. Adam was set to reunite with Camron for Hubie Halloween, but the latter’s sudden passing couldn’t make it.

    Cameron Boyce’s sudden death a 20 left everyone in shock

    Cameron Boyce had already earned a name for himself in Hollywood when everyone received the news of his untimely passing on July 6, 2019. His family revealed that the 20-year-old actor died in his sleep due to a seizure caused by epilepsy, which he had been battling for quite some time. They launched the Cameron Boyce Foundation in his memory to carry on his legacy of kindness, creativity, and social activism. His death was widely mourned in the industry and Disney community.     How did Happy Gilmore 2 mention Cameron Boyce?

    Nearly a year after his death, Adam Sandler, who earlier paid tribute to Cameron in Hubie Halloween. Now, he reportedly included a brief but heartfelt tribute to him in his latest release Happy Gilmore 2. A fan on social media pointed out that in an early scene, there is a small television playing an episode of Jessie, showing Cameron as ‘Luke Ross’. The subtle moment wasn’t called out directly by the makers, but it left fans emotional after the news went viral. Fans immediately recognised him and took to social media to express their emotions.
