India’s very own superstar Deepika Padukone has made it to the list of Women Shaping Culture. Apart from her exceptional acting talents, Deepika is also known for her advocacy for mental health awareness, pay parity, and uplifting women, among other social issues.
Taking her to her social media, Deepika wrote that she was grateful for the honour. Apart from her, other international celebrities have also been named in the list. Some of them are Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Amal Clooney, Rupi Kaur, and many more women who have paved their paths in numerous industries and ensured that their voices were loud and clear to the world. In her feature of the list, Deepika wrote:
“To me, success isn’t just about professional achievements but also about well-being—where mental health and self-care matter as much as discipline, dedication, and determination. I hope to inspire a generation that values patience, balance, consistency, and authenticity.”

Before being added to the list, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce had also announced that Deepika would be honoured with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in 2026. She will be the first Indian actress to get this tribute. The celebrities whose names will be added alongside Deepika are Timothee Chalamet, Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci and more.

Apart from this, Deepika was also in the headlines for her alleged demands for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Spirit starring Prabhas.
