In the wake of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam that shook the nation, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has come forward to voice his support for the Indian government and the armed forces. The actor issued a heartfelt statement, aligning himself firmly with the country’s response to the brutal incident that claimed the lives of several innocent civilians.

“I stand in complete solidarity with, and support of, my government and their response to the slaughter of innocents in Pahalgam. My thoughts and prayers are with the families shattered by the violence of this most recent terror attack on our soil. I salute the bravery and courage of our armed forces and thank them for keeping us safe,” Saif Ali Khan said in his official note. He ended his message with a strong call for unity, adding, “I pray we all stand united against terrorism. Jai Jawan, Jai Hind.”
The actor’s statement has struck a chord with fans and citizens alike, as many look to public figures for reassurance and solidarity during difficult times. Saif’s message echoes the sentiments of a grieving nation that is still processing the shock and anger over the Pahalgam massacre.
The terror attack took place on the night of April 22, targeting civilians in the peaceful valley of Pahalgam. India’s subsequent response came swiftly in the form of Operation Sindoor, which took place on the night between May 6 and 7. The military operation reportedly destroyed nine terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), neutralizing several terrorists involved in cross-border activities.
The situation further escalated tensions between India and Pakistan, raising global concerns. However, in a surprising development, the U.S. President Donald Trump recently stated that both countries have agreed to a ceasefire in order to avoid further escalation.
