As the singer for Black Sabbath and the heavy metal maniac behind songs “Crazy Train” and “Bark at the Moon,” Ozzy Osbourne seemed like he’d have nothing at all to do with the clean-cut, wholesome bubblegum pop of The Osmonds. But, as viewers found on MTV’s The Osbournes, Ozzy and his family were just as loving as Donny and Marie Osmond.

And in the wake of Ozzy’s death on July 22, Donny took a moment to “remember my brother in music,” and how he crossed paths with the “Prince of Darkness” at the start of the 2000s.
