Manoj Dnyaneshwar Patil from, Pungaon in Pachora taluka in Jalgaon, joined Indian Army back in 2017. He was on leave and reached his home to get married to Yamini. The couple reportedly tied the knot on May 5, 2025, after which Manoj Dnyaneshwar Patil received the order to immediately return to his duty and report to the headquarters. Manoj, without a second thought, followed the orders.
In the visuals that made rounds on social media, Manoj was seen leaving his hometown to fulfil his duty to the nation. His family, and the new bride, Yamini were seen being present on the station to see him off. The new bride and Manoj’s family members were seen being emotional as well. On the other hand, the new bride, Yamini, had said that nothing can be bigger than the country, and she has sent her sindoor with her newlywed husband to protect the country.

On April 22, 2025, 26 innocent men lost their lives due to the attack on Pahalgam. Reportedly, these men were asked about their religion first, and when they said they were Hindus, they were singled out. Such an intensely inhuman act left the nation bursting out in anger and tears. Several women lost their husbands due to this attack.
It was on May 7, 2025, when India retaliated through ‘Operation Sindoor’. Undoubtedly, it is a unique and meaningful name for this mission, which was given to it reportedly to symbolise the loss of innocent wives during the Pahalgam attack. Sindoor is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Sindura’. It refers to the red and orange powder that married women wear on their hairline. This is not the first time that India has selected such a unique name for an operation, time and again, the country has chosen meaningful names to give to the major operations.
ADDC Raj Kumar Thapa was martyred in a cross-border artillery attack by Pakistan
The tension between India and Pakistan has been increasing. It was on May 10, 2025, when reports suggested that ADDC Raj Kumar Thapa was martyred in Pak shelling. Reportedly, he was in his official residence in Rajouri on the day, and a Pakistani shell directly struck his office premises, and due to this, he lost his life. The shell also reportedly left two staff members seriously injured. Several glimpses from Raj Kumar Thapa’s funeral also made rounds on social media.
