Frontier Airlines is shaking up the travel industry with the launch of its highly anticipated “GoWild!” pass, offering unlimited domestic and international flights for an introductory price of $299 (Rs 25,388) per year. The pass is designed for travelers looking to book last-minute trips, with the flexibility to fly as late as the day before departure for domestic flights and up to 10 days in advance for international routes.
The pass provides a minimal airfare of just $0.01 per flight, though passengers will still need to pay applicable taxes, fees, and any additional charges like baggage or seat selection. However, the offer comes with some conditions, including blackout periods and additional booking fees. The pass is valid from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026.
While the concept isn’t new—Frontier introduced a similar pass for domestic flights in 2022—the new offering expands its reach to international destinations, catering to budget-conscious travelers and those looking for spontaneous travel opportunities.
The launch of the pass comes as part of a broader trend in the travel industry, with companies like Virgin Voyages also offering subscription-based passes. These initiatives tap into growing demand for flexibility as travel continues to recover post-pandemic.
For those willing to adjust to the terms and conditions, the “GoWild!” pass offers a unique option for frequent flyers seeking affordability and spontaneity in their travel plans.
