Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular sitcoms, which has been the longest-running and most adored on Indian TV households. For years, there have been many changes in the casting of the show. Asit Kumarr Modi opens up on Dilip Joshi’s rumoured exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Asit mentioned earlier in an interview with the Hindustan Times that social media has become a sphere where everything has become negative, and hence it was important to keep a positive mindset. Now, in a fresh new interview with the ETimes, he shared that whenever there is news related to Taarak Mehta, it always grabs a lot of attention. He shared that at times, even sensitive or misleading things are written about the show. In his words:

“But honestly, I don’t bother about it much. If I start responding to every rumour, it will never stop. Recently, Jethalal (Dilip Joshi ji) wasn’t seen on the show for a while because of his personal commitments. But that doesn’t mean he’s quit the show. It’s not always possible for the story to revolve around just one character. People start assuming things, but I stay focused on the storyline and ignore these rumours.”

Asit Kumarr Modi assures fans that ‘Jethalal’ is not leaving Gokuldham society

As it had earlier shared that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has always been a positive serial and is family-oriented. The motto of the show is to spread happiness, and he wanted people to think positively, as it was not correct to spread false information related to small matters or say something that is inappropriate, which he does not consider a good thing. He then further slammed rumours of TMKOC’s important characters, Dilip and Munmun, exiting by telling Hindustan Times that:

“Lekin kuch nahi hai, sab log hamari team ka part hai. Kuch unke personal reasons the to us time nahi the. To aise koi baat nahi hai.”

Reports related to ‘Jethalal’ and ‘Munmun’ exiting from the hit serial, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, surfaced when fans of the show noticed their absence from the screen for a pretty long time. They were not seen in the Bhootni storyline. Reportedly, in one of the latest plots, most of the Gokuldham Society folks are vacationing in a haunted bungalow. ‘Jethalal’ and ‘Babita’ were not seen, and fans then speculated that both of them may have exited the show.
