    Olivia Rodrigo’s Go-To Dr. Martens Boots Were Back in Action at Lollapalooza Paris

    Olivia Rodrigo took the Lollapalooza Paris stage on Friday in a towering pair of Dr. Martens Audrick 20-Eye Knee High Boots — a high-impact silhouette that’s become one of her onstage signatures.

    The platform boots were constructed from nappa lux leather with exaggerated cleating and Dr. Martens’ signature yellow welt stitching. The 20-eyelet design climbed to just below the knee, with elongated laces that wrapped around the shaft for a gritty, wrapped finish. A zipper on the inner calf helped ease the look’s functionality, while the two-part Quad Neoteric sole added height without the heaviness.

    Rodrigo paired the boots with black micronet tights by Calzedonia and a pair of high-rise black shorts, finished with double-studded grommet belts. Up top, she wore a silver-fringed halter with chainmail-style shimmer — all in line with the Y2K-meets-riot-grrrl aesthetic she’s leaned into throughout her “Guts World Tour.”

    Dr. Martens’ Audrick silhouette has appeared regularly in Rodrigo’s wardrobe, both on stage and off. While the Audrick 20-Eye boot is her go-to for performances, she often swaps in the Adrian Smooth Leather Tassel Loafers or the 8065 Mary Jane shoes when off duty — both in the same classic black leather with yellow stitching that’s long defined the brand.

    The boots also reflect a broader commercial narrative. Just last week, Dr. Martens confirmed that its autumn/winter 2025 order books are “healthy,” especially in the Americas where direct-to-consumer sales are strong. While the U.K. market remains challenging, the brand is leaning into what it calls a “Levers for Growth” strategy — focused on product-centric marketing and streamlining operations under new CEO Ije Nwokorie. Rodrigo’s tour presence offers a tangible, trend-forward showcase of the kind of consumer the brand is eager to retain.

    Her Friday set marked one of the most anticipated performances at this year’s Lollapalooza Paris, which also featured sets from Lola Young, Justin Timberlake and Macklemore. Rodrigo joined the music festival just weeks after wrapping her “Guts World Tour,” which officially concluded on July 1 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.
