Now, Astronomer has reportedly suspended Andy after his Coldplay kiss cam clip with the HR head of the company, Kristin, went viral on social media. Well, now reports of his toxic leadership have also come on social media. A report by News 18 shared that Andy was doing mismanagement of the Cybereason startup where he used to work as a chief revenue officer. The report alleged that the employees of the startup did not like him being hired. According to News 18, a former employee had shared:
“Multiple former employees said Mr. Byron would lash out against employees who disagreed with him, including threatening to fire them. ‘You couldn’t challenge him.”
Employees also noted that after Andy was hired, there was a shift in the work culture. Transparency was lacking, and the company was known for the same. When Andy joined, he got a team of salespeople from his earlier company, Fuze. During that time, he denied all the allegations of having strict dealings with staff. He had claimed to have taken strict decisions so that the company could reach a new growth, and for the same, he had to take up some tough decisions. Now, on the other side, his video with Kristin from the Coldplay concert has been blown out of proportion.
