Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, has become the talk of the country after he was caught cheating on his wife, Megan Kerrigan. Without his knowledge, Andy was caught red-handed by Chris Martin during a recent Coldplay concert in Boston. Since that time, Byron has touted controversy and has been constantly receiving backlash on social media. Now, this has forced Astronomer to turn off their comments section on X.

Coldplay cheaters, Andy Byron and his HR Chief, Kristin Cabot, both married and having respective partners, were caught canoodling during Coldplay’s concert, which took place at Gillette Stadium located in Boston. Well, now Astronomer has switched off the comments section, which was initially open to the public, as negative messages were flooding in from social media. Netizens have been filled with rage and have said that both Andy and Kristin have committed a crime. Apart from talking about moral policing, social media users were feeling sympathetic for Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron.
It is interesting to also note that the comments section of the Astronomer’s LinkedIn section has also been disabled. According to another report by People.com, Andy and Kristin have reportedly even deleted their LinkedIn account. Andy is married to Megan, and in a Coldplay concert viral clip, he was seen holding Kristin’s waist during an infamous kiss camera moment. Now, it appears that Astronomer has disabled the comments section on all their social media handles. From being trolled to receiving negativity, he and Kristin have become a topic of the cheating row.
Andy Byron goes on leave, Peter DeJoy temporarily assumes CEO role
It is also interesting to note that Byron has two kids with his wife, Megan, and the family resides in New York. Astronomer, the AI startup company, has been in the news after Andy was seen in a kiss scam with his HR head, Kristin. Now, the company has given the confirmation that Andy has been placed on leave and that Pete DeJoy has replaced him temporarily, seeing the aftermath of the controversy. Astronomer released a statement on their social media handles that read:
“Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave. We will share more details as appropriate in the coming days.”
For the unversed, Pete is the co-founder and the Chief Product Officer at Astronomer currently. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and physics from Bowdoin College, located in Brunswick, Maine. A report by the Hindustan Times also shared that DeJoy always had an interest in expanding Astronomer’s data orchestration platform and earlier oversaw product development for the company. DeJoy has been with Astronomer for eight years, since the birth of the company as a founding member.
