Peacock is raising monthly subscription prices and adding a cheaper ad-supported tier with limited content — but new subscribers have time to lock in lower prices.

Currently $7.99 to $13.99 monthly, the NBCUniversal streaming service is increasing ad-supported and ad-free plans by $3 per month. That brings the ad-supported Premium plan price up to $10.99 monthly (or $109.99 per year) and the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus package up to $16.99 monthly (or $169.99 annually).

However, new subscribers who sign up by July 22 can get the best streaming deal on Peacock with the ad-free Premium Plus annual plan, which locks in the existing rate of $139.99 for one year and includes livestreaming access to your local NBC channel. You can also sign up for the ad-supported Premium annual package for $79.99 for one year. Prices go up on July 23 for new customers and on Aug. 22 for existing subscribers, so you’ve got less than one week to get the lowest Peacock subscription rate.

The company will also offer a new lower-priced tier, Peacock Select, that includes a selection of the service’s library and current seasons of NBC and Bravo shows for $7.99 per month (or $79.99 annually).

There are other ways to get deals on Peacock subscriptions.

Instacart+ members get complimentary Peacock Premium with their grocery delivery membership, while Mastercard cardholders can save up to $5 per month on their streaming subscription.

Both Peacock Premium and Premium Plus packages include access to over 80,000 hours of movies and TV show episodes, including Oscar-winning films such as Wicked, Oppenheimer and Conclave; new movies including Dog Man; next-day access to NBC and Bravo series such as Love Island, Vanderpump Rules and the entire Real Housewives franchise; original series including Rainn Wilson and the Geography of Bliss, Bupkis, Bel-Air, Poker Face, Meet Cute, A Friend of the Family and more; past seasons of Yellowstone and That ’70s Show; and much more.

Peacock Premium also has over 50 channels and live sports, including MLB Sunday Leadoff, Premier League, Sunday Night Football and WWE. It was also the streaming home of the Women’s World Cup and the U.S. Gymnastics Championship.

Peacock’s Premium Plus tier includes all of the above, plus your local NBC channel live, no ads (except on select live TV shows) and the ability to download select titles to watch offline later.

The streaming service recently offered its ad-supported Peacock Premium plan for only $24.99 for the first month — a savings of nearly 70 percent off. Though the spring deal ended on May 30, Peacock typically rolls out deals for Black Friday.

Want to get Peacock for free? If you’re looking to cut the cord and expand your binge-watching library while saving time on grocery shopping, Instacart is offering one of the best free deals on Peacock.

The ad-supported Peacock Premium plan (reg. $13.99 per month or $139.99 annually) is included for free with Instacart+ memberships, which offers unlimited free delivery on orders over $35, lower service fees, 5 percent credit back on eligible pickup orders and other perks for $9.99 per month or $99 per year with annual billing. Instacart says the service pays for itself if you order twice per month.

Instacart+ users will get free access to Peacock’s ad-supported Premium plan for as long as their membership is in effect and the offer is available. The deal doesn’t apply to existing Peacock accounts, and you cannot use the offer to upgrade to Peacock’s Premium Plus, which has fewer ads.

Mastercard users can also save on a Peacock subscription. Right now, eligible World or World Elite Mastercard holders can get a statement credit of $3 per month if they pay for Peacock Premium with their card (a savings of 38 percent) or a monthly $5 credit (36 percent off) if they pay for Premium Plus.

The Mastercard x Peacock offer essentially gets you NBCUniversal’s streaming service for just $4.99 a month. The offer expires in March, so you still have time to score the deal.

The Best Peacock Student Discount Offer in 2025

Peacock’s student discount deal offers a full year of streaming for just $1.99 per month, getting you 75 percent off the regular subscription price. After 12 months, the plan auto-renews at the then-current annual rate.

You’ll need to register with the name of your school to claim the deal, but Peacock says it can be any degree or certificate-earning institution, meaning adults, part-timers and education workers can qualify, too.
