Astronomer’s co-founder has entered the chat.

Two days after the company’s married CEO, Andy Byron, was caught cuddling up to HR chief Kristin Cabot on a Coldplay concert kiss cam, Ry Walker spoke out.

The “co-founder and early CEO” tweeted that he has only spoke to Byron once “on a call.”

However, he noted, “I’ve found Andy to be professional. … Everyone on the team has praised his leadership to me. So I think this is an unfortunate development that comes as a big surprise.”

Walker also clarified via X that he was the CEO for the New York-based company from 2015 to 2019 — “until it hit serious traction.”

While Walker subsequently served on the board, he has not been involved with the company since 2022 and now works for Tembo.

Byron, notably, became the Astronomer CEO in 2023, with Cabot joining the team’s human resources department the following year.

While introducing Cabot in a November 2024 press release, Byron gushed about his employee’s “exceptional leadership” skills.

Cabot, for her part, wrote at the time that she had been “energized in [her] conversations with Andy” about the “opportunities” available at Astronomer.

On Thursday, Walker quipped that he has “no information on ColdplayGate” before dropping a subtle dig at the band.

“I have 704 liked songs in Spotify — none are Coldplay,” he tweeted. “But I do think Chris Martin is an amazing vocalist.”

Walker told a fellow social media user that he “definitely” would consider going to see the Grammy winner in concert in the future.

Byron has yet to speak out on the scandal since concertgoer Grace Springer uploaded a video Wednesday of the moment Martin told attendees to “look at” the cozy couple — who immediately sprang apart.

Fake statements, however, have been circulating online, including one of Byron apologizing for his “inexcusable” love of Coldplay.

Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan, has deleted her Facebook account amid the drama.
