Actor-producer Ravie Dubey is stepping into mythological territory with Ramayana, the highly anticipated cinematic adaptation helmed by acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari. In a recent social media post that has fans buzzing, Ravie shared a behind-the-scenes photo featuring himself with Ranbir Kapoor and Nitesh Tiwari, calling it a moment spent “in the company of legends.”

The unseen image, shared from the sets of the film, comes just after Ravie wrapped up filming for Ramayana: Part 1. The actor, who essays the pivotal role of Lakshman, captioned the photo with heartfelt devotion, “Patience is rich, great talent, world is victory, Ram || in the company of legends @niteshtiwari22 sir #ranbirkapoor brother.”
Dubey, one of television and OTT’s most recognizable faces, is now making his mark on the silver screen in a character that demands both emotional depth and fierce devotion. His casting as Lakshman has been met with immense excitement across fan communities, eager to see him portray the loyal brother-warrior.
Ramayana features an ensemble cast led by Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Reports also suggest that Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, and other well-known names are part of this ambitious project, though their confirmation is being kept under wraps for now.
The film is being produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, in association with 8-time Oscar-winning VFX powerhouse DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. Shot for a global audience, the two-part epic will release in IMAX format worldwide, with Part 1 arriving in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 following in Diwali 2027.
With scale, vision, and star power, Ramayana aims to be a cinematic experience of epic proportions and Ravie Dubey’s Lakshman is one to watch.
