Charlize Theron made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday in Los Angeles. The Oscar-winning actress and humanitarian begins her promotional tour for her forthcoming film “The Old Guard 2,” a sequel to the 2020 film “The Old Guard” directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood.

For her late-night talk show appearance, Theron combined suited styling with sheer dressing. The actress wore a black blazer with sharp shoulders and lapels with angular construction and contrasting fabric.

The blazer featured a cinched waist with added silhouette definition due to a coordinated black silk sash. The piece also featured pockets at the hips. Theron opted to go shirtless beneath her blazer, harkening back to a recent trend styled by Venus Williams during Milan Fashion Week in February and Camila Cabello during Paris Fashion Week in March.

Along with her blazer, Theron wore a maxi black sheer skirt. The skirt provided movement thanks to the flowing silhouette. Elements of fabric ruching and stitching featured at the hips, with sheer fabric cascading throughout the rest of the piece.

Theron accessorized her attire with minimal pieces of jewelry and wore a pair of black sunglasses upon arrival to the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” studios. Along with promoting her forthcoming film, Theron is busy with ventures and partnerships in the fashion world.

The actress stars in Dior’s first high jewelry campaign. The campaign marks the first time the French luxury house has an ambassador for its most exclusive jewels, designed by Victoire de Castellane, artistic director of Dior Joaillerie for the past 25 years.

“Working with Dior for so many years now, I have to say, it’s our collaboration I have always valued and appreciated,” Theron said. “Together, we felt that it was important for this high jewelry story to embody the essence of what it means to be bold and confident.
