In a chilling incident in Pennsylvania, Justin Mohn, 32, gruesomely decapitated his 68-year-old father, Michael, at their residence in Levittown. The horrific act was followed by Mohn displaying his father’s severed head in a politically charged video on YouTube, where he vehemently criticized the federal government and the Biden administration, a Daily Mail report said.
In the video, Mohn held up his father’s head, encased in a blood-stained plastic bag within a silver bucket, and chillingly declared, “Violence is the only solution to the federal government’s treason.” He further proclaimed, “This is the head of Mike Mohn, a federal employee of over 20 years and my father. He is now in hell for eternity as a traitor to his country.”
The video, titled “Mohn’s Militia – Call to Arms for American Patriots,” was believed to be recorded in a bedroom, with Mohn seemingly reading from a written manifesto on his computer screen. In his rant, Mohn declared himself the commander of America’s network of militias and vehemently criticized migrants, the Biden administration, the LGBTQ community, Black Lives Matter, and “far-left woke mobs.” He demanded the killing and public execution of various federal officials, including FBI agents, IRS employees, US Marshals, federal judges, and border control officers, accusing them of betraying their country.
The distressing 14-minute video, which shockingly remained accessible on YouTube for six hours after its upload at 5:30 pm, was eventually removed. The video’s removal came after police discovered a headless body in the bathroom of the Mohn family home, following a distress call to the residence just after 7 pm. Chief Joe Bartorilla of the Middletown Police Department confirmed the gruesome discovery and noted the community’s familiarity with Mohn and his family. The family, including Justin Mohn, his parents, and siblings, resided in the house, valued at $390,000. Despite the family’s apparent business ventures, including a cleaning company and a literacy initiative, there’s no substantiated evidence of Michael Mohn’s federal employment.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office reported that the victim’s adult son was not present when the police arrived and had left the vicinity in his father’s vehicle. Mohn was arrested approximately two hours away in Lebanon County.
The district attorney’s office assured the public that there was no ongoing threat. “This is an active and ongoing investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available,” the office said, emphasizing the seriousness and evolving nature of the case.
Mohn’s disturbing actions and statements in the video reflect a deeply troubled individual, grappling with delusions and a misguided sense of retribution against perceived enemies of the state. The incident has left the community and the nation in shock, prompting a reevaluation of the intersection between mental health, online platforms, and public safety.
