In an interview with Cosmos India, Mrunal spoke about her deep bond with her parents and siblings, which has always been a cornerstone of her growth. “Being a part of a big family taught me the importance of finding my own path,” she shared. Her relationship with her family is one of the main factors that helped build the grounded and determined individual she is today.

Mrunal also recalled some poignant memories from her childhood, especially moments that impacted her understanding of financial struggles. She said, “When we were younger, if there was a feast at home and guests suddenly dropped by, it would affect our budget, even though we were a middle-class family. My grandmother would end up eating rice or roti with just chicken curry, because there wouldn’t be any pieces left.”

She went on to say that as a child, she made a promise to herself to work hard and give her parents the best of everything, motivated by their sacrifices. “Early on, I got it in my head that I have to give my parents the best of everything,” she added.

Mrunal also reflected on the evolving dynamics of parenting in her family. She mentioned how, with her elder sister being the firstborn, her parents were still figuring things out. By the time Mrunal came along, they had gained a better understanding of how to raise their children. Twelve years later, Mrunal’s youngest sibling was born, adding another layer to the family narrative.
