Mindy Kaling posted rare photos with B.J. Novak over the weekend, sending fans into a frenzy.
While highlighting a restaurant she loves via Instagram Sunday, the actress shared a smiling snap standing outside with the owner and her ex-boyfriend.
“This weekend, @bjnovak and I stopped by my favorite restaurant in LA @mealsbygenet for dinner,” she wrote, adding that the duo ended their night watching “The Princess Bride” with her eldest two children.
The “Mindy Project” alum, 46, concluded the carousel with a shot of her legs as she sat on the couch with Novak.
“Kit was obsessed with Inigo Montoya’s vengeance plot (shocking) and Spencer loved the Fire Swamp and the R.O.U.S.s,” she told her followers.
Social media users, however, were more focused on Kaling’s couch companion than on her kids’ opinion of the film.
“You can’t keep doing this to us,” one fan wrote, referencing longstanding rumors that Novak fathered Kaling’s little ones.
The comedian, who is the mother of daughter Katherine, 7, son Spencer, 4 and daughter Anna, 1, dated Novak from 2004 to 2007.
She has not revealed her children’s paternity — but insisted to Marie Claire in 2022 that rumors regarding Novak don’t “bother” her.
Speculation continued to swirl in the comments section of Sunday’s upload, with one fan gushing that “mom and dad had a date night.”
Another called the photo “one hell of a soft launch,” while some urged Kaling to never set the record straight on her alleged “situationship” since “it won’t be fun anymore.”
Many praised the producer as a social media “genius” to get people to pay attention to a small business.
Reps for Kaling and Novak have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The duo poked fun at their “insanely complicated” dynamic at the Emmys in 2022, and Kaling referred to Novak as an “integral” part of her family at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony two years later.
While the Tony winner has not been in a public romance since splitting from the actor, he was recently reported to be dating TikTok star Delaney Rowe.
